How to reach the island of Kalymnos?

Kalymnos is part of the Dodecanese islands and can be easily reached from the island of Kos. The maritime connections are daily from the port of Kos town. There is a morning catamaran Dodecanisos and evening ferry Blue Star. Tickets can be booked on line.

Kalymnos is a small Greek island very popular with Italians and Greeks tourist. Has several resorts, among which ones the best area to stay is the west coast: between Massouri and Myrties are the most famous locations with excellent tourist facilities. Most of the accomodation are apartments and studios. The tourist season in Kalymnos extends until the end of November and begin in March, also becuse  of the climbers that are visiting the island all over the year. Out of season Kalymnos offers more services for tourists than some bigger islands.
