Important! If you arrive at Kos airport and need to reach Kalymnos island there is no need to go to Kos town. The port of Mastihari is 6km from the airport and from there there are frequent ferries to reach Kalymnos. Remember to enter the right port in the search engine.
For Mastihari -Kalymnos connections you must enter: Departure Mastichari KOS, Greece To Kalymnos, Greece. Instead, if you leave from Kos city, enter [KGS] Kos (All Ports), Greece as the port of departure. The connection from Kos city is only 1 or 2 times a day, whereas from Mastihari the ferries and catamarans are more frequent. It is advisable to book in advance as these routes involve workers who travel daily from one island to another and tickets are often limited.
