Highway Transportation to Bodrum from all over Turkey through bus services is available. Bus terminal is in the city center.

To get from your hotel / apartment in the city center we recommend the “dolmus”. Dolmus are small vans that connect different places in the city center and the nearest beaches. No need to pay attention to the times, as they are frequent, even at night. They are an excellent and economical means for both locals and tourists.

To visit the peninsula, we recommend car hire. The roads are great, you can choose to travel on the highway or on the streets that cross the villages. If you wish to visit sites such as Ephesus, Pamukkale the good idea is to choose a coach trip. They are cheap and very comfortable. Travelling by car in Turkey is expensive, since gasoline is more expensive than in Europe.

The roads are in excellent condition and you can choose to travel on the motorway or take the secondary roads that pass the various villages. Many of our guests come to Bodrum mainly to start their gulet cruise from here. It is an excellent solution to combine the gulet cruise with a few extra days dedicated to visiting Turkey. So you can easily organize a mini tour with a rental car; starting from Bodrum towards Pamukkale with its beautiful white pools, the submerged archaeological site. To then continue towards Ephesus, the house of the Virgin Mary and the tomb of Saint John. By spending one night in Ephesus and two in the beautiful Kusadassi you can return directly to Milas airport (Bodrum) where you return the car.
