Gulet description

Gokova bay gulet cruise

Gokova Bay gulet cruise is the most famous itinerary out of Bodrum.  This gulet itinerary is the original Blue Cruise, the very first traditional gulet route along the Turkish coast. Following the paths described in Cevat Şakir’s famous writings, this itinerary leads you through secluded bays, pine-covered shores, and untouched islets far from civilization, including the Seven Islands, Cleopatra Island, and Orak Island.

This region is one of the most sheltered parts of the Turkish coastline. Protected from strong northern winds by the mainland and from the south by the Datça Peninsula. The calm waters and minimal wave activity make sailing here particularly smooth and enjoyable.

Because of its serene conditions, natural beauty, and historical charm, Gokova Bay is widely considered the ideal route for gulet cruises in Türkiye.

Why Choose a Gokova Bay Cruise

  • Ideal for those who love nature, quiet bays, and crystal-clear waters

  • Perfect for guests who prefer nights at anchor instead of crowded ports

  • Designed for a week of pure relaxation under the Aegean sun
