    Gulet cruises from Bodrum

    Turkey is the country of origin of the gulet. This type of beautiful boats are built in Turkey in the shipyards of Bodrum, Bozburun and Marmaris. The gulet is a very comfortable boat, wider and with much wider spaces than sailing boats and this guarantees their comfort. Gulet cruises from Bodrum are ideal holiday for relax.

    Turkish gulet is most suitable for navigation along the Turkish coast and the neighboring islands of the Dodecanese. One of the main ports of embarkation is Bodrum; the most renowned tourist town on the Turkish coast.

    From Bodrum the itineraries to the bay of Gokova considered the original gulet route with many inlets, green pine forests that reach the sea and the sea is always calm. The alternative to the bay of Gokova is the bay of Hisaronu which is located in the outer part towards the Greek islands and to which is added the visits to Knidos, Bozburun and Datca, small tourist places where to go out in the evening or in the afternoon.

    From Bodrum you can also sail the islands of the Dodecanese; either the part of the North or South Dodecanese. The itineraries of the Greek islands of the Dodecanese from Bodrum are in great demand as in Greece the availability of the gulets is very limited.

    HOW TO REACH BODRUM

    The nearest airport to Bodrum is Bodrum Milas which is located 24 km from the city of Bodrum. Pegasus air and Turkish airlines connect Bodrum with Istanbul with several daily flights. Flights from Italy therefore always stop in Istanbul. From Bodrum airport you can reach the port of embarkation by taxi or an organized transfer which we can arrange for you.

    Another convenient way to reach Bodrum by direct flight are flights to the island of Kos. Several low cost airlines such as Ryan air, Easy Jet and Blu Panorama fly directly to Kos from where you can take the trip to Bodrum.

    Ferries between Kos and Bodrum leave in the morning from 09.15 onwards, there are several and advance booking is not necessary. In addition to the departures in the morning there are also the departures in the afternoon from 16.30 to 18 when the last catamaran leaves for Bodrum. The same times are also for the return from Bodrum to Kos.
