Things to know about gulet cabin charter

Crew on board 

The crew on gulet cabin charter consists of the captain, cook and one or two sailors, depends on the size of the boat. They speak  English and sometimes another European language, such as German or  Italian, however, it is not difficult to find a way to communicate and to be understood.

Cleaning of the yacht

The crew takes care of the daily cleaning as well as the final cleaning of the boat. The common areas are cleaned several times a day, while in the cabins are emptied bins and cleaned the bathroom. The crew will not make your bed or touch your personal things.

Itinerary details

The gulet cabin charter itineraries descriptions on our website are approximate and subject to weather conditions and maritime traffic or law changes. We try to follow the programme as much as possible, but the captain has the authority to change the itinerary at any time of the cruise and propose the alternative route when weather conditions (strong winds or rough seas) do not allow the navigation. The decisions of the captain and port authorities are final and are not subject to refunds.

Smoking on board

Smoking in allowed in the outdoor areas of the boat in respect of other guests. In the cabins is strictly forbidden smoking. Remember that the boats are entirely made of wood!


Electricity aboard is 12-24V and requires two pin (round) plugs. 220V is provided by the generator some hours per day. WI-FI on cabin charter gulets is not guaranteed.


Boat insurance for damages and collisions is included, it is recommended a private personal insurance policy in case of injuries or diseases.

Additional Costs

Beverages - all the drinks are not included and can be purchased from the bar. (Mykonos, Ionian islands and North Sporades route have local drinks included). The bar prices are exposeed in the saloon and drinks consumed are marked on behalf of the cabin. The bill should be paid before disembarkation in cash only. Indicative prices of the bar are;  water € 0.50, coffee € 1,5, soft drinks and juices € 2.50, cocktails from € 4.00,  bottle of wine from € 13. It is not allowed to take on board drinks purchased in ports.
* Coffee, tea and juice are included for breakfast, during the day are charged. Natural bottled water is included with meals.

Gratuities for the crew

Tips are a very important custom in Turkey and Greece. Crew tips/gratuities of 5% to 10% of the weekly cruise price are given to the captain at the end of the voyage, to be shared among the crew.

Meals on board

gulet cabin charter cruise includes full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner and afternoon tea) or half board (breakfast and lunch). The meals are cooked on board and served at the table set up outside in the stern. All guests eat together. Meals times are generally; 8:30 breakfast, lunch 1 p.m. and dinner 8.30 p.m. The food on board is based on the Greek and Turkish cuisine generally much appreciated by our guests.

Example menu for cabin charter

Breakfast: Different kinds of jam, honey, butter, black olives, cheese, sweet cheese, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, fruit, bread, milk, tea and American coffee.

Lunch: Light meal served with rice, pasta, salad and fruit. The main dish can be stuffed eggplant with minced meat dishes, kebabs and mixed vegetables, fried vegetables with yogurt aside, stuffed peppers, grilled fish or baked.

Time of tea: Tea with cookies

Dinner: For dinner are offered some meze (appetizers) and main dish can be served cooked or grilled accompanied by salad and fresh fruit. The main dish can be sea- bream or other fish, chicken, beef (cooked with sauces), kebabs with mixed vegetables and more.

The daily menu is fixed and can not be changed. No pork, rabbit or horse meat is served. In the case of special diets or food allergies please inform us before departure / boarding day.
